Throughout the years motherhood has taught us that without being organized we can't do a good job at balancing our act. Moms Buzz is sure that by now, you are already on your marks, ready and just waiting for the "go." Although setting up a table should have been one of the first things to do in your list, maybe a nice centerpiece is still missing; probably the reason being because you don't want to spend more money than what you already have, and you have not had the time to give it a second thought. Here are three last minute ideas for your centerpiece that are so easy to achieve with just a couple of things you already own or have at home.

Cover a cake plate with a cluster of tea lights; be sure to light them from the inside out! Decorate the base of the pedestal with harvest colors if you have things at home that can help achieve that harvety look.
Michael Moloney's idea: Drop some lemons and limes into clear glasses and vases— whatever you have around the house—and top with water. Use the platter you have available at home. Instead of lemons you may want to use little gourds if available. Water creates that "magnifying" effect so they can be mini size.
Jell-O gets to play a bigger role at the dinner table. Evette Rios, one of Rach's go-to design gurus, elevates the translucent dessert to art with this nifty trick: Combine six boxes of Jell-O powder with half the amount of water specified, chill the mix in a glass vase for half an hour, then just push flowers or fruits into the semi-firm gelatin. Design your own — in any color!

candles and lemon centerpiece Ideas... are known to me... Jell-O powder idea is something new and believe me its looking awesome in the pic... with Halloween and thanksgiving right around the corner... I guess I can definitely give this one a try... Thanks for sharing... :)
