Last week we talked about a home-made mask for dry skin as part of our series of posts dedicated to home made face masks. Today's home-made mask is for combination skins. Combination skin is normally a mix of oily skin in the center of the face (the "T-zone") plus dry or normal skin on the cheeks. When you treat combination skin, your aim should be to treat the oiliness in the center of the face without harming the skin on your normal skin on the cheeks.
To make a face mask at home for combination skin, you need the following:
- 1 rose
- 1 tbsp rose water
- 1 tsbp natural yoghurt
- 1 tbsp honey
Wash the rose petals in water. Soak for a few minutes and then crush in a bowl. Add the rosewater, yoghurt, and honey. Mix well and apply to the skin for five minutes. Rinse off with tepid water. You will love this mask because of its aromatherapeutic effect!
If you do try it, please tell Moms Buzz and its readers about!
If you do have combination skin, you may also want to make sure you have the following key products to treat your skin type:
- cleansing bars
- pore strips
- exfoliating scrub
- oil-free moisturizer
- eye cream
Check out the home-made maks for oily skins and dry skins from our previous posts.
Love your skin and you home-made beauty treatment!
