Thanksgiving is just two days away and I am sure so many of you have guests coming over and we want those beautifully harvesty decorated tables to have the correct place settings, right? Do not stress about this because setting up a table correctly is not as difficult as it seems. They are two basic rules you want to follow:
- Utensils are placed in the order of use.
- Forks go to the left of the plate, and knives and spoons go to the right.
Of course, they are different table place settings depending on the occasion, whether it is formal, informal or a basic setting. Click on the following link at EmilyPost.com on the correct table place setting because we all need a little hand here, especially when so much cooking and preparation needs to be done for Thanksgiving!
I would love to see some pictures of your tables. Whenever you get a chance send it over and I will publish them for table decoration ideas!
