Moms' Buzz
Blog News
Vienna, VA - October 3, 2007
A few days ago, an artist in California brought to our attention that the image Moms' Buzz was using as its logo was her own creation and that Moms' Buzz was in a copyright violation. Moms' Buzz contacted immediately the company we hired to create our logo when we started the blog. The designer we worked with was no longer with that company. After 48 hours of trying to contact her, the designer came forward confessing to both the offended artist and Moms' Buzz that she had taken that image from the artist's site.
It has been extremely difficult not only to the offended artist, but to Moms' Buzz as we found out we had been seriously defrauded. We deeply regret what has transpired in the past few days for the parties involved, and Moms' Buzz has taken immediate action to remove the images from our site, our Cafepress Shop, and are in the process of removing additinal images that may have been in other sites. We will also take action against the designer at fault for the damaged she caused to Moms' Buzz.
Moms' Buzz has only good intentions to our community and would have never done anything to harm anyone: our readers, a talented artist and even ourselves who are behind Moms' Buzz.
Our deep apologies to the talented artist whose beautiful and meaningful illustration adorned our site until Monday of this week.
Always the best to you and your families,
- Moms' Buzz
