There must have been many glamorous parties since Fashion Week started last week in New York City, but the one that made most business sense for bloggers was Glam Media's bi-annual Fashion Week Bash Party at the Library Hotel this past Monday, February 16, 2009.
The Moms Buzz was fortunate to attend for the first time, and it was simply wonderful to meet the Glam team in action, greeting 60+ publishers and pampering them as only the Glam team knows how to.
This time, the popular Glam Perks turned into mini manicures and pedicures free for all, accompanied with good food and drinks combined with the one-time opportunity to meet and network "live" with other fellow bloggers in the network!
The event lasted good 8 hours, and rightly so because to have one on one conversations with the Glam team, and Director of Network and Community Marketing, Julieta Alvarado, was more than I would have expected. The highlight of the evening was meeting in person Samir Arora, Glam's CEO, and Scott Schiller, Glam's Marketing VP.
No wonder A-List and influential bloggers, such as Tina Craig and Kelly Cook from Bagsnob.com/Totsnob.com, Michelle Madhok from SheFinds.com, Lauren Dimet Waters from SecondCityStyle.com, Pamela Pekerman from BagTrends.com don't miss this event!
The Moms Buzz was pleased to meet also other fellow bloggers whose sites like theMomsBuzz.com are thriving partly thanks to Glam's commitment to the success of its network publishers. These bloggers were Catherine Kallon from Red Carpet Fashion Awards, located in London, England, Ehmonie Hainey from What's Haute.com, Peter Buongiovanni from Doggies.com/Breeders.net, located in Canada, and Meaghan Mountford from ChicCookieKits.com among many others The Moms Buzz did not get the chance to meet at the event.
