Green Celebrities - Meet Them!

Who are those eco-savvy celebrities who are engaged in saving the environment and helping humanity?  Some you can figure because they are always on the news, but other you would never guess.  Meet the GREEN celebrities below and learn what they do in an effort to stay GREEN and help humanity.

Alicia Silverstone: She has led an organic and vegan lifestyle for years. She lives in a green solar-powered home and her kitchen table is recycled from the floor of an old bowling alley.

Brad Pitt: He has donated millions of dollars to help restore the damage in New Orleans from Hurricane Katrina. All of the houses he’s helping to restore are eco-friendly and can even float on water in the event of a disaster.

Edward Norton: He has helped to launch the BP Solar Neighbors Program. The organization supplies low-income families with solar panels.

George Clooney: He launched and supports Oil Change, a campaign to end America's dependence on oil. He also drives a Tango electronic car.

Cate Blanchett: She converted her Australia house into an eco-chic abode. Plus, she and her husband want to convert the Syndney Theatre Company into a green venue.

The Oscars Nominees for this Year!
